Default Stillen CAI question

I have the Stillen CAI this one http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=STIHIFLW01&c=PE and i was wonderin I can clean and oil this filter w/ the K&N cleaner and oil right?? And yes I did a search on this but couldn't find anything about cleaning this particular intake, just Nismo, JWT and other intakes. Thx.

You sure can. I have the same one, thats who the filter is made by. You can use it on any filter thats oiled.

just be very easy with the oil, dont soak it. it is easy to put too much on and that will lead to problems with the MAF. you might as well get some MAF cleaning spray, and clean it while you have the intake apart and are waiting for the filter to dry. kill 2 birds

Yep. Forgot to mention that. There are some people that over soak it, its best to let sit over night on some newspaper or towels as well.
