but this situation isn't really like that although its wrong too. im pretty sure this transaction is illegal, selling something and not giving the bought product, but some used and inferior stuff. charging a bogus restocking? if Skyler got everything that he thought he was paying for no one can say anything, cause in that case its his fault for not finding a better deal.

I agree w/ what u say 100%, but if he agreed to everything originally, which from his 1st post, it seems that he did, bc he id not mention anything about being scetchy on the price untill 5-6 other people chime in and say that was to much, so if he does not wanna do his homework, and go out and has the funds 2 blow 6K like that, then i need 2 b workin where hes at, and yes im a very satasfied customer of VRT, but i did my homework, and spoke w/ mike several times b4 making my decision 2 go w/ his company. If everyone did the same, we would never have a thread like this.

i know he never bought the kit, i was jus responding saying that the price listed was in the ballpark for a correct price, depending on condition of turbo's, manifold's, intercooler, and miles on kit
i understand, but its not like Skyler had money to throw away, he was slowly paying for the used turbo since last year some time till he was recommended not to get it. you say he should have done his homework, but he thought that mr.a was schooling him to the scene and he put his trust in mr.a that knows all about this stuff. im sure Skyler didn't doubt mr.a for a second, and im sure mr.a reassured Skyler that he was working for/toward the customer's best interests, but it clearly wasn't/isn't the case. im sure if i spoke with mr.a, he could probably convince me to sell my house to buy a shift ****. thats the kind of business man he is in my eyes and their are plenty of these kinds of vendors. i for one don't want these kinds associated with our community. would you want this type of stigma felt against us? when you hear used car salesmen, what is the first thing that comes to mind?

Even more reason 2 do his homework b4 he spends his money.....i dont know about u....but if i was running a business, im in it 2 make money, and make the customer happy, and from the postings in this thread, when he took the car from Mike, he loved it, so, sounds like he just got cold feet afterwards

I think this thread has turned from a forum where I could get input into a pissing contest. I am not out to ruin VRT, I just wanted some input. I am going to request a close for this thread because I don't feel it is getting anywhere anymore other than creating animosity.
I appreciate all the input from everyone on this thread and thank you for all the guys who offered to meet up with me and take pics and offer more educated input than I have to offer. I will post another thread in the near future after my work has been done and I will tell everyone what was done, what we agreed to, and I will make sure and post before and after pics. Thanks again to everyone for your input and advice, it is very much appreciated.
Regards,
Skyler

I am just confused here, cause it seems to me like MrA is doing everything he should to make it right. I do not know why these things happened, but in the end if they are made right that is all that matters!!
So, maybe I am reading something wrong here, but if I am not then the OP is getting a true dual Stillen, his original CAI, and everything else he wanted for less than you say it should cost???? I am not arguing here, I want to make sure I am reading this right. If he gets $1000 back then he paid less than $5000 total, which in the end would include coilovers (parts and labor), CAI installed, true dual Stillen exhaust (parts and labor), sways (parts and labor) and headers installed? Am I right?

i really had a lot of respect for VRT for building some sick cars but all of that means nothing. Screwing over just one customer WILL screw your business over...ill say it once and ill say it again...one punked customer will go and tell atleast 10 people...in this case atleast 100 lol...the damage is done...i hope fallenromeo worksk things out and i hope VRT learned its lesson.

Skyler, I am glad this is going to be handled!!
Some of the reasoning here is about to make me throw up. Navygolf, after reading some of your ideas and the nonsense you are talking about tracktimes or whatever, I am really thankful that I didn't PM you about your turnkey setup. If you are associated with this type of business, you can only be as good as the company you keep.
For Dozzer1b, you are RIDICULOUS. You think that everyone should just know what they pay for before they buy it? I think that he knew he was getting a stillen exhaust, he had a CAI of his own, and he wanted some nice Coilovers. Did he get that? Was he asking supposed EXPERTS on building cars? WOW is all i can say. Shame on you AND shame on navygolf for trying to justify what VRT did. When I don't know about something, I ask questions. Who do you ask questions about 350z's? Most people would suggest asking a reputable shop. VRT was supposed to be one. Now I'd say they're more of a notorious shop than a reputable one.
Did the OP change his story? NO, he added to it. That's pretty shltty. I am not a Doctor or nurse, nor do i know about medical treatment. If i go to a hospital to get my appendix taken out i don't want the doctor to take my stomach out instead and tell me its better, and then charge me some outrageous price for it. You can say i'm comparing apples to oranges, but it's relatively the same thing. You put faith in experts especially of a business who practice according to the law.
