Default work done by VRT

I just got my headers, exhaust, intake, stances coilovers, and sway bars put on by VRT. I had the headers and intake already, they installed. Bought the other parts through them. It cost me close to $6,000 to get the work done but my car handles better and is quicker.

If you got the most expensie things:
1000 for crawford headers + 500 install
250 intake +50 install
1500 exhaust +50 install
900 for those coilovers + 250 install
500 for the sway bars + 100 install.
Im going by about 100 bucks/hour instalation rates.

I owned the headers already, I paid for the labor on that, I had to buy the stances coilovers and the sway bars from VRT. Im not the only one who thinks I paid way too much money then for the work I got done...

holy crap you got jacked with your eyes wide open! Did you asked them how they broke down the price for the install? You could have just done the intake yourself and save some money. Its by far the easiest mod to install. I can why the rest needs to be done professionally because not all of use have a jack or feel confortable laying underneath a car on some jack stands. Either way, 6000 just for labor is too much.

There was nothing else done to my car. Originally they forgot the sway bars and putting on my intake, I had to bring it back to get that put on.

No I did not get a breakdown of the costs to itemize it all. I started feeding money towards the work a week after I bought the car and I was just so excited to get the work done that I didn't think about how much it actually costed.

VRT doesnt have a very good reputation here. Its too varied. I wouldnt know, I dont have personal experience with them. If you enjoyed your experience with them, then the money was worth it. However, I'd never pay 6g's for all that, labor + materials.

I love my car and I love the way it handles and gets on it. But I still feel I paid too much for the work I had done. I think I should have gotten more for all I paid in...I don't know what, but I should have gotten something else. Oh well right, the money is already spent.

Don't some headers need to have the motor pretty much un-bolted and tipped to install? That may be part of the reason that it was so expensive, it still seems pretty high though considering you purchased what should have been only $1500ish in parts. Especially since you have to take the intake off to get to the headers in the first place so the labor for that should have been next to nothing or nothing at all.

My experiences with VRT have all been good, but I never ran into something like this with them.

Romeo, you gotta be $hittin me !!!!! Let me get this straight, you payed VRT almost $6000 to install some headers and intake that you already had, and to purchase and install an exhaust system and some stance coil-over shocks???? If this is the case than thats a complete scam, either way you look at it.
I would love to hear mraturbo BS his way outa dis one, and justify about $3000 dollars of this rediculous expense. I am seeing this more and more of that place here in the past few months. Its seems to be starting a patern. I am sure you are not the ONLY one on here that has got takin by that company here recently. In fact I know a few more that are just too passive to come out and say anything. It is a damn shame, and I feel for you. People will just keep takin advantage of others because people are too afraid to speak up.
