Default Need some help PLZZ

Ok i just installed my MD 5/16th spacer and Testpipes. I have a few problems, and want to get some input on what might be the cause.

#1 - My idle is not really smooth, it sorta bounces from around 550-650ish rpms maybe alittle more like 700rpm (there is a small hiss coming from the engine when i listen closely w/ the hood up. I read the MD instructions, this could be a leak? They talk about your engine making a small hissing noise even w/o the spacer and its normal, so i dont know if this is normal

#2 - Also, my test pipes may have a leak but im not sure. When im driving like in 1st gear and just going slow (the exhaust is to loud to hear it at any speeds ) after i let go of the gas, as the RPMs drop and im slowing down, you can hear a clear rattle. Sounds like a bolt or like almost if a small BB was bouncing in the exhaust. I called a shop and they said it could be a small leak but i dont see how that sounds like a leak lol.

#3 - This goes along w/ #1, i installed the TPs after the spacer, and that is when i notices the RPMs bouncing the most. After the spacer, i didnt really notice it, i mean it was alittle bit bouncy right after the install, but then it stopped. Now w/ the TPs, it is doing it all the time. Dunno if its any correlation.

Plz help me out w/ this stuff because for some reason when ever i post lol i get no responces. I dont wanna spend money to have a shop look at it, if i can just find out what it is a do it myself. THanks much guys.

Did you torque the bolts down to spec?
I am not sure about the rattling with TP's, but I am sure someone will chime in here.

Good luck!

Ya i torqued it all down to spec and everything. The spacer i bought was used, and it had a gasket on the top and bottem, but i left the stock gasket on the plenum also because it was connected to the lower plenum in the center, and the gaskets on the spacer were not so i left it there, but i dont think that would be the problem.

Rattling from tp? doesn't sound like a leak. About your idle problem try unplugging negative terminal on your battery and pump the brakes couple of times that should reset your ecu. hope this will help.

Ill try it and let yall know what happens. Do you think if i reset teh ECU, does it matter which method i use? Ont eh MD instructions, it was hella more complicated.

If you read page 9 on the instruction look at the bottom "If above didn'twork, disconnect the battery negative and pump the brake to discharge the ECU capacitors. This method is almost foolproof as long as all ECU control parameters are within their normal ranges". this method should solve your problem bro.

Disconnect negative terminal, pump the brake once or twice then plug the negative terminal back, start your car. that should do the trick.
