JWT popcharger owns both, but out of the two you want Injen is the hands down winner.
Injen actually draws in fresh air, where as the AEM is placed badly and draws in warmer air.
You also do realize the stock air box is a cai also right?

Everyone says the JWT pop charger is better on the Z, I have the JWT, it's very nice! (Borat) The CAI looks cooler, but for me it was a matter of what performed better...plus the JWT pc is way cheaper!

I have the Injen and the only gripe I have about it is that because of the filters location you may have clearance issues with some front bumpers. With a little modification you should be fine though.

forget the JWT.
i own a injen cai. the sucking noise is sooo loud. people say it sounds like a blow off valve hah. (the sound of it).
ive called many Z stores and they all recommended the injen. its a little more pricey, but if u have money to spend, buy it! its around 280. and the popcharger is 90 bucks or somethin around there. the jwt is really popular here though, prolly cuz of the price

Im sure they would recommend a higher priced part i owned the aem cai and loved the sound(better than my popcharger) but filter maintenance on cai are a total pain in the ***, and i didnt notice any power diff between the two. save your money and get the popcharger!

i have an injen intake and have no complaints about it. Mid rang RPM's the intake puts of a whistle sound somewhat mimicing a BOV. A very pu$$y BOV, but yes it does have some resemblence.
JWT Popcharger seems to have a strong reputation in the forums, but i wouldnt say a filter connected to the stock intake is "better" than a full out intake system. Honestly though, your not going to see a HP difference in either or, so go for sound and appearance. What do you like better? If your looking into intakes specifically for the HP gain, then just grab the drop in K&N filter and you will retrieve the same gains from either intake. (AEM or Injen or JWT) All the same BS, opinions vary on each product.
JWT - Cheapest, probably easiest to install
Injen - Looks good, and produced a unique sound
AEM - Has a water bypass sponge/valve that will give you piece of mind when converting into the cold air approach in a rainy climate. (hydro-lock protection)
