Gruppe M seems to have quite the impressive intake system for the Z: link

So has anyone ever installed this intake in their Z over here yet? I wonder how much of a performance boost it would offer over the stock and even nismo intake.

 

Not many owners have this intake, it costs waaaaay to much. I think it is something like $500 new? For the money you could get a spacer or even a new upper plenum -- either will get you more power than an air filter.

 

^^^^Hahahaha, 500 new...i wish. It's 1200+ new. I have one and i definately didn't buy it for power, i got it b/c it is super rare and it looks really cool.

 

Do some searching. This is not a new intake.

Why aren't you running the scoop with the hose to the filter box?

 

I assume this intake will not "bolt on" to a G35?

 

kind of looks like a CF "****" from that picture...

 

Decided not to use the scoop for various reasons primarily heavy rain/debris.
and somfknguy get your mind out of the gutter

The intake is great! i will be getting out of the whole scene sometime in the near future and will be selling the intake so keep your eyes peeled!

Popular intake this time of the year it seems. One guy was selling his for 5-600. People though he was crazy..
