Just cause some people can't afford it they have to talk **** about it

All Nismo Titanium and cooling parts is made by ARC, the car you seen is Shadow Motorsport's car in Japan (JGTC500 Driver for Nismo) personal car. ARC don't want to make an exhaust for the Z market cause they know that guys that own Z can't really afford this but they made one for Shadow for prototype.
I don't think he was trying to talk ****, just pointing it out. I bet the pics are from the prototype fitting or something...that is why the welds aren't finished.

The muffler is full titanium but the mid pipe as well as the optional y-pipe is stainless.

So the amuse and this arc true dual are not full titanium!!! The only part that is titanium is the muffler? All other pipes (like the mid and possibly y) are ss?

I bet many here along with myself could easily afford this exhaust.. But how would you justify it? especially to the wife

The amuse sounds good and best of all, it looks good. Im not that hot for it either
I'd rather have JIC full Ti, but its too damn loud w/ straight pipes. The JIC to me is a baller exhaust.. 9 lbs, full titanium and not 910451204 dollars. Ofcourse, the best setup would be JIC w/ amuse ti front pipe (y pipe + Test pipes in 1 piece, all ti). That setup would drop over 50 lbs from hte stock setup, being the one thing that can give the largest weight savings for the whole car. That exhaust setup and monoblock forged rims and tires can potentially save the car 100 lbs lol. Rediculous.

Where can you get the y-pipe/test pipe combo?

I really need just a Ti y-pipe. My JIC full Ti weighs about 9.8 pounds....

First off yes I have seen ARC finish products and am well aware of what they do. Secondly if the OP had posted this was a proto I never would have asked the question. Third given my point that no one except you knew it was a prototype I am perfectly correct in questioning that. Considering the recent quality issues on HKS exhaust systems (see the H pipe thread if you don't follow that) every consumer should know full well what they are getting before they part with their money. $6000+ for an exhaust is STEEP even for ARC. If they didn't want educated consumer to question them then they shouldn't release prototype photos to their vendors for public release. And as an FYI I could pick up two of those exhausts today but that money is ear marked for the track car i'm building...

You should start a raffle for one of these exhausts!
