hey guys, i listened to a few sound clips of the n1 exhaust and i love the way it sounds. i did a search and some people were saying it wasnt loud at all. based on the soundclips tho it sounded like it was fairly loud. when they say it's not loud at all, do they mean that it's just not obmoxiously loud or do they mean that it really is almost stock quietness?

i like loud exhaust and i wont be happy if the car isnt considred to be loud after i put it on. it will be combined with aps non-resonated test pipes and an ip y-pipe. will the car be loud with the apexi n1?

if not, what exhaust for around the price of the apexi(500-600) would be loud and sound nice with fairly good quality?

my friend had the invidia with helix test pipes. i loved the way it sounded. its loud but not as deep as some. i have the nismo with r/t cats and mine could be heard over his while we were driving side by side (as per third vehicle) but his was def louder. i love my setup and wouldnt want it any other way except the one i just posted. good luck

 

well since you have other mods, it will compliment the exhaust very much. i have the apexi n1 dual, and i dont have any test pipes or what not, i only have a pop charger, and so compared to other's exhaust, it's not as loud, but then again it's cuz i dont have other mods like you. so i'm sure it will be loud. it also doesnt look "mean" compared to other exhausts, the piping is smaller and looks smaller next to say ... a greddy or arc.

 

hmm.... i think i might go with this exhaust tho. i cant get myself to pay 1k or more for a catback, it seems a little rediculous, and i dont like buying used parts. the a'pexi is like 500-600 bucks and it's a good brand. i've heard two sound clips so far and i thought both cars sounded awesome. i dont care if the car is ear splitting loud, just loud enough that if i drive by, it's clear that the car has exhaust. ultimately i'd like to get HKS but there's no way im paying that much. i was also looking at topspeed n1 exhaust. i think i like the apexi more tho because the topspeed seems more mellow and low key where the a'pexi seems really aggressive

Are you kidding!?!? TOP SPEED N1 is way louder than apexi N1! LOUDEST exhaust IS the TOP SPEED N1.

 

i didnt mean how loud it is. the exhaust note on the top speed seems more mellow and calm where the apexi sounds high strung and aggressive. i havnt heard either in person so i dont know how loud either of them actually is.
