Thumbs up Review of topspeed headers and turboxs test pipes.

Well got my stuff installed over the weekend by a fellow member of the boards (eassssy). First noticeable difference is when I start it up. It has a deeper note. Performance wise it really woke up the car it feels great. There is rasp but, I like it.

From 3200 to 4500 I say its the most. Cruising on the highway is very very quiet. Driving aropund the city it just sounds more mean and at wot it sounds pissed. Had an ses light but, it went away after 50 miles or so and has not came back on. Very happy with the gains.

I didnt install them myself. A member by the name of easssy did it. I'm not to sure about the time it took him, afternoons worth of work maybe or less.

How is your header holding up after you banged in the primary? Any probelms , loss of perfrormance?

Its fine, no steering issues or rattles. I can't say if there are any performance losses since i only drove it like 5 miles with it not banged in. If you think about how much volume you are loosing on just 1 primary it should not cause a noticable difference. Either way it is still flowing better than the oem headers.

Just use a blow torch to soften up the primary before banging it in. Also i used a socket extension and a hammer to bang it. Using this i was able to do it with the header still mounted to the motor. Just make sure not to puncture the primary
