Is getting an '06 airbox w/a K&N worth it for my 03?

I did a search too....
Didn't find anything I wanted to know about the 06 airbox though...
Anyhow, I like the 06 airbox. Not sure it REALLY gained my any hp, but there is a difference (that's probably because the one I bought came w/a KN drop in).
Still, I also bought a JWT Pop Charger and to be honest, I love that more. I think the noise is great and yes, the butt dyno felt something.
BTW, I really like this forum. A lot of great information and good members!
Sorry, I'm a newbie!

From my measurements using Cipher, the JWT popcharger has best potential for flow due to the optimized design of the velocity stack. But it heat soaks very quickly when the car is not driving around on the highway. So it's up to you, and your driving habits, to decide whether you prefer the popcharger or stock intake.
That is the beginning, middle, and end of the discussion.

Isn't the Stillen pretty much the same thing as the Pop Charger but with an enclosed housing that draws air from the factory air inlet that draws air from the front of the radiator?
Like the Pop Charger, it has the venturi ring (high velocity ring), but it is isolated in a plastic box similar to the factory intake and draws its air through the same inlet.
It seems this would be the best of both worlds by getting cooler air to a higher flow, cone-type shorter ram filter (shorter tube = less pressure drop/better throttle response).
I've never seen one in person. What am I missing?

How does it seem to compare to the Pop Charger's? Or is it too hard to tell in just a picture?

I'd say that is a pretty decent design
But it is a little more expensive than the popcharger, right?

I figure 80 extra bucks is worth it, IF it flows as much as a Pop Charger but has the benefit of cooler air. It is more cosmetically appealing as well, seems to address the heat-soak issue, has a velocity ring, and would look nice with this carbon fiber intake tube:
I'm not going to sweat 80 bucks, but I do want to get the best-designed system reasonably available. I know you are a fan of the K&N Typhoon (and so am I), but I'm concerned about throttle response through such a long tube. Stillen seems to have addressed this problem too, so I am wondering why it is not more popular.
Maybe somebody knows something about this that I do not?
What say you?

I had the '06 airbox, now the pop charger. The popcharger is more prone to heat soak if you don't keep the car moving... But I think I like the pop charger, so maybe my next project should be to fabricate a professional looking/functioning "sealed" heat shield for it.

If no, I'll be doing a dyno comparison soon.

Even a few degrees difference in intake temperature will result in many HP difference.
