Default Kinetix hfc & header question....

Hey guys my fiend just installed some kinetix hfc's and wow.... they feel awesome along with his other mods... thanks for your help and opinions... I was now wondering that since these cats sit extremely close to the heat shield beneath the car, would it be possible to push up this shield a little higher so that it won't rattle at every stop light???

Also, if you all could give me some opinion on the difference between crawford, strup, and top speed headers... i'm wanting to purchase these items asap....... thanks guys

No. You cannot easily move the heat shields. Besides the catalytic converters are shielded.

You could remove the heat shields

But that could be difficult without uninstalling/reinstalling the cats

I had the dealer bend the shields which helped somewhat. I don't know what they did... probably crowbar or something

Unfortunately the Kinetix High Flow Catalytic Converters does not have a brace so it is difficult to tweak their position.
