Default confirmation before buying the Strup header

I have a 2005 Track with Stillen CAI, MD plenum spacer, and Nismo catback. It has deep and throaty sound. Will adding the Strup header make it sound louder? I like the way it sounds now.

Yes, I've used the Search but could not get definite anwser.

Usually any time you replace the stockers, an increase in noise will be there. Depending on Test Pipes, HFC's, Headers, etc... could have some rasp added too.

I have the Strups w/ other components and the growl was louder and nicer IMO.

I installed mine when I still had the stock exhaust installed. I didn't notice any difference in sound. I doubt headers will change the sound much even with an aftermarket exhaust. Changing out the stock cats to test pipes or hi flow cats is a different story.

Bull. The answer has been posted 100 times: Increasing exhaust volume will increase noise level. Always.

yes it will change the tone of your exhaust slightly. I doubt it will be for the bad though. You'll probably end up liking the difference in which the headers will probably deepen the exhaust note a tad and produce a little more db at full throttle. Your intake suction noise will increase also.

I liked the difference when I added my Strup headers...when you take off the OE headers, you'll see how big of a difference the strups are; in general, the exhaust sounded a bit deeper. After 6 months w/ the headers, I'm still extremely happy with them...great fit, workmanship, and customer service. (seems like lots of ppl have trouble w/ installing other headers...these were fairly easy)
