Default Would a Borla TD fit in a 350z???

I am thinking about buying a borla TD exhaust from another member. He is doing pickup only and I only have my 350z to transport it. Would it fit inside the Z?

Thanks!

It should fit as long as you take apart some of the pieces.

Thanks for the reply! I would think that it would fit, just want to be mostly sure before I make the few hour drive to try and pick it up!

its not going to fit. I have the borla exhaust and when i had it spread out on the floor when it arrived at my house, there is no way you'll be transporting the whole thing in the Z unless your hatch is wide open. The muffler portion might fit in the front seat, but the resonators are going to be a PITA. I honestly have not tried it, but from the looks of it when it was spread out... not happening. You may be shipping a portion of it back.

It will fit no problem. The Z has more room than you think, the problem is large awkward things. The Borla breaks down into so many pieces there will be no issue at all fitting in there.

No problem. For some reason Borla decided to cut the exhaust into 12 pieces. Its sort of like an erector set.

Thanks for posting that!!! I remember seeing that picture a couple months ago but I didn't even think about it now. If I can get the actual muffler in it should be no problem!

I carried my Borla in the rear hatch with absolutely no problem. It comes in so many pieces that it barely takes up any space at all. If you're picking it up partially assembled you may need to break it down a bit. The muffler part fits super easy so it's just the length of piping. Disassembled this doesn't even take up half the rear area.

Here's the issue: getting your stock exhaust home. I scratched up a few bits of my interior trying to wedge that badboy in. It requires the use of the front seat as well as the rear and is a total PITA. Plus it's a bit heavier than the Borla.
