Have a nice day.
Thank you, come again.
Nice how we are talking about something subjective like the sound of an exhaust and you state that sharif's opinion trumps the "random forum members". We are not talking about the flow, the build quality, ie: something objective. We are talking about the sound. One man's symphony is another man's 'nails on a chalkboard'

From this random forum member, I still think it sounds like crap

Believe me I was half kidding

chill out man, sound is subjective I agree 100%, I believe I established that in this thread already.

Yeah, still not to impressed with the sound of this exhaust...While some people will like it, I rather stick with something that makes the stock exhaust sound, just a little louder and meaner..That's what sets this car apart from all the other imports you hear out on the road these days..I was just a little disappointed because I was thinking the HKS would make the stock tone, just a little deeper and meaner...I still think it's sounds a little to high pitch for my taste.

Then just get some high flow cats or Test pipes and you can keep the stock exhaust sound but just louder.

Ziv, just curious how many you have heard in person? Perhaps there was an issue with the particular car, that you think sounded like crap.

I will never argue with anyone's perception of sound....but I havent heard anyone complain about the sounds of the HKS, and we have installed/tuned/sold about 30 of them.

Most all the vids sound higher in pitch than it does in person.. IMO. Of course you know what they say about opinions.

Hey Sharif, why don't you recommend the Stillen TD??? It's sounds pretty good and throaty and supposedly gives great gains...It's between the Stillen and the Borla for me

The main reason I dont like it, is becuase it uses slip fit joints, and u-clamps. They tend to rust, and are very difficult to remove. The exhaust is also a lot of pieces, which makes it somewhat more difficult to line everything up.

But my main reason...is that I dont like slip fits and u-clamps......flanges and bolts all the way!

not to dog anyone's exhaust, but i've always thought that borla wasn't a good brand since way back when, like just a little better than Pacesetter... i think it got popular when it was mentioned in a certain movie.
