For the life of god.... ive been trying to find pictures of the AEM short ram intake installed on a Z.....

please post if you find any....

ive been reading so much **** to stick with Shortram, that I will use AEM's version.... or just use the Popcharger!!

I wanted to go cold air, but im hearing too many bad stories with water etc....

 

well if you were going AEM, then you wouldn't have to worry about the water situation. AEM comes equipped with a water bypass sponge/valve that will prevent water from getting into your engine. Even if you submerged the filter under water, it is proven that the valve will release the water with no engine damage.

Ram air does produce more HP, but runs into Head Soaking problems on a hot day. The stock intake provides the engine with a cold air return, so to do it right, you want to return the same favor. Pop chargers and other short rams do not do this.

I couldn't find you an installed picture of the ram air version, but its the same as the rest just an AEM tube. Good luck with your decision.
