Default Kinetix HFC failure

I visited my mechanic because of a rattle coming from the area under the motor. Everything is tight, and the exhaust looks good. Removing the Kinetix catalytic converter revealed the problem: the entire inside of the converter is in pieces. If you tap the converter on the ground, pieces of stuff falls out. BTW the converters lasted 20,000 miles.

Kinetix parts are horrible quality. The welds on my test pipes were so horrible that after 1000miles test pipes just broke into 2 pieces making guys at AAM laugh

A lot could've happen in 5 years... the OP doesn't even have a Z33 anymore! I like the fact you searched but not buying a product because of something that was written 5 years ago is beyond me. Better options are out there but I'm sure they've gotten better over the years.

probably should have searched prior to buying, then you would not have to return those junk parts kinetix makes
