its probally made the same you pay for the hks name. Happy to hear about your exhaust dont listen to those other guys there just mad they spent 1500 and u got the samething for 500. Good point you could by 2 more of those and spend the same as a hks exhaust lol. Im gunna be picking it up very soon prolly gunna use stock cats cause im scared of rasp and dont want to spend the money for hfc. Im interested in your glass pack mod. When its all said and done its just metal piping seriously now unless the welds are crap.

No, I am sure the HKS is higher quality in terms of materials. But the price is so much lower that it almost makes you not care.

PS there are several grades of stainless steel. I have bought stainless steel kitchen knives made in China that rusted almost immediately under normal conditions. And I have bought stainless steel kitchen knives from germany that I've had for 15 years and never showed any signs of corrosion.

Guess which one is cheaper to produce.

"glasspacks" are not just for rednecks. If you own the HKS exhaust, real or knockoff, then you can see that the center section of the system contains two silencers right behind the h-pipe. they are about 12" long and filled with fiberglass. I simply cut them out, and installed longer silencers to quiet down the system. It worked. It sounds much better. In fact, I'll bet money that my setup sounds better IN PERSON than your japanese steel.

Default not picking a fight...

I'm just tired of cry babies complaining about other peoples cars. I appreciate the quality of ...some jdm parts, and obviously, I drive a japanese car. I just think that some losers have nothing better to do than sit on their computer, and put down people for not spending thousands on overpriced japanese parts, just to leave the car in the garage, while they drive their benz to work at the firm. The purpose of this forum, im sure, is not crap talking and bragging, but to ask questions and give educated answers. If you don't know, then leave your two-cent complaints on your myspace page. Otherwise, thank you to the people who take time to "help" people, and make this site a positive resource for 350Z enthusiasts. I'm gonna go drive my car now.

Glad to hear that the exhaust is holding up Dcrob
you need to bend the hanger or hangers. best way to do that is to have a muffler shop heat it up and bend it accordingly.
