could you snap some pics of the spacers on the cross bar, as I feel I really need to put mine back on.

First of all, that center "resonator" in the GReddy EVO2 is NOT a resonator. It is a hollow chamber. I know because I have mine cut apart, and I have seen it myself.

Secondly, if you think that the cross brace is not needed, then ask yourself "why would Nissan spend the money on such an unnecessary part?" The answer is: they wouldn't. They put it there for a reason, and Nissan engineers know more than you do, so leave it there.

Thirdly, most low hanging exhausts can be fixed with a stainless hose clamp from the hardware store. That's right, put the hose clamp around the rubber hanger, tighten it, and viola. Your exhaust is now adjustable and you only spent $1.

I wouldn't put foam on or near an exhaust. Most foam will melt or burn at the temps. which the exhaust can reach. Heat wrap won't stand up to abrasion for very long either.

Lastly, if you add any kind of test pipe to the EVO2, you will get a "buzzing" or a "rattling" sound when accelerating hard and also while decelerating. With test pipes, it may also rattle/hiss on decel.

Oh and one more thing: test pipes and aftermarket cats can really mess up the fitment of an aftermarket exhaust. Somewhat of a "tolerance stackup" phenomenon. My Crawfords+EVO2 made the EVO2 sit low, but my stock cats+EVO2 fit perfectly. My UTR test pipes+EVO2 fit good also.
