Default JWT Pop Charger for '06

First, please no flaming. I've searched the entire forum in the quest to see if there is a benefit of a pop-charger vs. the stock box. I've read anywhere from the greatest bang for your buck to they're worthless (just sound good). This is aimed at the '06 owners. If you have one let me know what you think.

It's just that once you start driving with the popcharger, you start bogging because the engine gets really hot and all you are sucking in is the hot air.

The reason why other owners like the 06 air box because of how the air goes in.

It sounds great, as far as gains its minimal. I think it pulls a little better up top, but it could be all in my head.

Actually you get heat soak if youre sitting in traffic for a while, but once you start moving fresh air comes in. Heat soak is only a problem on hot days(at least for me).

not for me

after driving for an hour or so, every take off and every gear, bogs so much, i'm about to put my stock air box back in or purchase the stillen enclosed air box intake.

The '06 stock airbox edges out the Popcharger, and the Stillen is much better, IMO. I searched the forum forum for weeks before coming to that conclusion.

You are welcome to pursue this yourself. Just read every post in this section from Wired 24/7 and Gothchick and you will educate yourself real fast.
