#1 Rule

Nissan "managers" dont know jack about jack. They are paper pushers homie

#2 Dont listen to ANYTHING they have to say about modding unless it is the mechanic working on your Z and they have a modded Z also. They are a bunch of player hating *********.

i agree 100% service advisors... the guys who walk up to your car and recommend you repairs dont know a damn thing about cars... for every 1000 there are probobly 10 that know about mods and vq engines... trust me... i worked for the #1 volume selling nissan in the southeast... and was disgusted at how the service was given to its customers... my advice as far as getting info on modding your car... stick to this forum these guys have done it and are doing it.... while those guys at nissan with the clipboard and the ink pen are just trying to make commision on you by getting you to pay for a bunch of services you dont need... and some of the time they dont even perform them! <--- witnessed this dozens of times....

The Nismo CAI is an R-Tune product and is not covered by the warrarnty. Only S-Tune products are covered by the warranty and they must be installed by Nissan. Here is a quote from courtesyparts.com which can be found at http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...de=16576-RNZ35.
2003 to 2006 350Z Genuine NISMO (Nissan Motorsports International) part.
These R-tune parts are not warranted by Nissan

How much will they charge to install this? I'm thinking of getting rid of my warranty (bumper to bumper 100k) and just doing the installs somewhere else on my 07 base.

If I were you I'd drop the popcharger & go back to your 06+ stock airbox. Best intake for the car.

+100000000

I wasted alot of money on intakes just to eventually come full circle back to the 2006 OEM airbox with Amsoil drop in filter. (Beware of the crappy Oil gauge K&N)

To the OP....

I feel like this EXACT same post was up last week. Did you double post?

you can do it in less than 1 hour by yourself and you do not need to worry about your warranty at all. next time check the date of the post before you ask a question to a person who posted in the thread two years ago.
