07 Stillen Dual Intakes Installed!!!!!

07 Stillen Dual Intakes Installed!!!!!
Ok, just installed the dual set up and took her for her maiden voyage. Absolutely LOVE it!!!!!
First of all, everything came packaged just as advertised. Very clear instructions, and installation was a BREEZE! I have limited knowledge with this kind of stuff, but I had zero problems. Took me about 30 minutes to install.
Ok, now performance gains are minimal with intakes. Everyone knows that. Just like everyone knows that for the most part, the SOUNDS are why people get intakes. This one does not disappoint. I have the Nismo system, and with the Stillen intakes, when you get on it, after 3000, there are sounds that POUR out of this car that I've never heard before!!!!! Driving around town, it doesn't change the sound much. But when you step on it, it's like music to your ears!!!!!!
I had an 04 with Borla dual and a pop-charger, and I was VERY pleased with that as well. Just a different sound of course. After reading about the single Stillen intake, and with many people choosing it over the popcharger, I went with the Stillen duals........and I've never been happier.
If you have an 07, and aren't waiting for the popcharger duals, I highly recommend this set up. Not sure what it would sound like with stock exhaust, but I'm sure it would be just as nice!!!!!!

Seriously, I didn't think to take pics as I was installing, otherwise I would have. Only thing I can do now is take a few after the install, and to be honest, there are a few pics on the Stillen site that would be much better than any I could take.

I guess you're right. I will post up pics soon. I'll also do my best to get some kind of sound clip to you guys. I would love to share how this baby growls!!!!!

Why are you all demanding pics so bad? Didn't you see the pics of installed Stillen duals already? I'm sure his setup looks exactly like those. It's like "I just got a brand new stock Z" - OMFG post pics, we've never seen a stock Z before!!111oneoneone!!

ill post some a vid of my install when i get home, installed my dual intakes last week.
The car is almost totaly stock. The only thing I've done performance-wise is the stillen dual cai's and stillen sway bars.
I hear a growl under the hood now, in any gear. 1st gear you can't tell as much as a difference as you can while in other gears. Also, you'll start hearing the growl after giving more then a small amount of throttle. I can even hear it cruzing in 6th gear at 80mph while giving a very small load on the throttle.
Installation took about 10-15mins each side. Instructions were 100% on the money.
The only thing missed out of the instructions was this:
Make sure you install the box withthe soft insulation between the opening of the air box and the plastic rectangular opening is. If you install the airbox and find that the insulation is inside the airbox, you'll have to take it off again and do it right (unless your lazy).
Overall, I'm very happy with the product.
Again, ill get video/sound/pics when i get home today, as well as pix of that insulation I was talking about.
BTW: Any word if stillen is going to be making a Z intake tube like they did for the DE?
