You probably messed something up while relocating it. Check all the hose connections, maybe you switched the location of 2 hoses or there could be a leak.

I've heard numerous stories of people messing up the relocation. Apparently it's rather fragile and/or "testy"

I had a leak also. Plus the harness that is located on the outside of the box was loose. It took me a week to find it. If you look at it closely, you'll see that it can rotate some. Make sure it's in the right postion. A slight offset can throw it off. Make sure there is no tension at all on the hoses and plugs. This was my problem. I couldn't believe it myself. Just something you might want to check out.

I have to agree with the aboe
On my bracket it tended to slide slightly once I was driving..(turning hard)
This put pressure on one of the hoses, and that would set it off.

They are VERY touchy so just a little trial and error and you should get it...
Good luck!

I have this problem as well. I too my car to the dealership and they fixed it...but then the light came back on later in the day. It's ganna be some time before i can get back there, does this leak cause any damage?

No, it does not cause any damage. It's just a safety item for the help of less pollution. The EVAP is a charcoal filter the routes gas fumes threw it to help cutdown on pollution. As I was told.
