Now that there are some people out there with the X02 exhaust....are any of you running test pipes with it...loud? sound good? Any feed back at all would be great and any sound clips/vids would be even better.

What up guys. I have nismo headers and magan test pipes with it, and love it. It sounds louder than any other Z I've heared. It has rasp, but I think the rasp sounds sexy with this exhaust. It really sounds good nothing like a V8 with open exhaust nore like a 4 banger. I hope that helps you guys.

 

can you post a soundclip maybe? or do you have any? im thinking about getting this exact setup it would help tremendously... Also you say it sounds like a 4 banger?

I've seen/heard a 350z w/ the HKS exhaust, resonated TP's, and headers in person. Its pretty loud and you can definitely hear it coming down the street/highway even when the driver isn't gunning it. Not as loud as other setups though.

i think ryanmac has x02 with test pipes. you can find him in the south central sub forum. its loud as hell if thats what youre wondering.

 

Ryanmac has the real HKS TD exhaust. I have the xo2 and will be installing this weekend. I'll be taking pics and making some videos. And yes, the hks and xo2 are both loud with test pipes. Even louder with headers.

 

hmmm ... i really wanna hear the clips, im runnin x02's exhaust and headers ,i like, but test pipes are making me curious for a upgrade.

 

It will be loud but it sounds so good. I have the helix test pipes. I will let you know how it sounds. I am hoping to make a video.

 

I have had the x02 exhaust with the x02 test pipes installed for almost 8 months now, and still no problems. Anyway, when I installed everything, it was way too loud and raspy for my taste, so I modified the middle section of the exhaust and it's much quiter now, still very aggresive, but no rasp at all, at any rpm or throttle position. I love this setup, and say its worth trying. Just be warned, test pipes and a true dual setup can get pretty raspy.
