Thumbs up Exhaust help...

Which exhaust system would you guys recommend for the best HP gains? I also read somewhere that true dual design exhaust systems are the best due to the elimination of the y-pipe. Please help. Thanks!

I recommend that you:

a. Set a budget.
b. Decide what configuration is best for you. Single. Dual. One or two mufflers.
c. Listen before buying.

I think exhuast are much like intakes, it's more of preference than anything else. It' comes down to which brand you like and how you want your car to sound. Nismos, Tanable, Borla, etc should have similar gains, and the price isn't that bad. If you want to spend a little extra... I have yet to hear a single complaint, not including price of course, about the Amuse, i think everyone that is fortunate enought to be able to afford this (I hate being a poor college student) loves it. If you're selling crack and/or have an abundance of extra money that you stuff you pillows, try the new ARC true dual titanium. At 6800USD tho >.<.

Screw the multi thousand dollar exhaust systems. That's just un-necessary. I'm lookin' at dual pipes of course with a nice deep sounds. Not that obnoxious raspy sound. Lately, I've been eyeballin' the Injen Titanium True Dual. Any other suggestions? I'm lookin' to possibly spend under 1G or just a bit over. Nothing ridiculous. I'm not looking to track it. It's just a hobby for me. =)

In terms of price and performance gains, HKS is probably the best.
Only downside is that it sounds like Piece Of Sh*t(in my opinion..difference in preference???)

I would always recommend Nismo..not for power gains, but for pure aural pleasure.

Check out the Fast Intentions Intimidator - www.fastintentions.com

There's a huge summer sale going on now in the marketplace - prices are VERY low on this system now.

Yeah X02 is just an HKS knock off, and by the look of your mods go for the HKS.

Know any websites where I can take a look at the X02 exhaust systems?

I've only heard a few exhausts in person but right now I'm leaning towards the Injen titanium. That thing sounds mean.

Yes, the Injen definitely does sound mean! Has that clean, deep tone in it!

IMO, Injen is loud as hell. I chose Nismo over it simply because of that. and I haven't regreted it.

Really? I guess we all have different opinions. A buddy of mine has the Injen True Dual and it sounds pretty nice!

If you're into deep exhaust tones such as injen, also consider Borla.
