Default Larger NISMO exhaust?

Is it just me, or does the 2007 NISMO edition Z have a NISMO exhaust with larger tips? I saw one at the dealer the other day, and the diameter of the tips look bigger compared to what i'm used to.

although i could just be crazy

It is specific to a Nismo Z due to the extended rear bodywork. It is Nismo tuned not the same as the Nismo exhaust you can buy for the standard Z.

well, the NISMO S-tuned exhaust was made for the 350Z, and came off of the S-Tuned NISMO car. So in fact that exhaust was tuned for the Z right? I know the new exhaust was made different because of the new bodystyle, that is the only difference. both are "tuned" by NISMO for their specific application.

The exhaust on the new nismo car is just a muffler with larger tips. The y and mid pipe are stock size.

The S-tune is a 2.5"- 3" outlet y pipe and a 3" midpipe to a different muffler.

Now the 07's have a much better y pipe than the 03-06 but it is still a 2.5 outlet. The 07's y pipe also has two black rubber vibration isolators that absorb vibrations in the exhaust system.

Does the nismo logo have open or closed "O" on the new exhaust?
