I would go with the Crawford..Great group of guys...Give Doug a call and he'll help you with any questions...I'm sure that you couldn't go wrong between the two though..Both great companies!

I love my FI cats. I know Crawford had problems at first but he has them taken care of now. Don't think you'll go wrong with either one.

Just a note.

If you plan on attaching these to your stock 07 headers, well, its not going to happen. The flange on the 07 is a different size that 03-06. The bolts dont line up. I found this out the hard way. You would need to make one, or cut the old one off your cats and weld it to the test pipes. The only people I know that do a good job is Forged.

Actually, it can happen. The good folks at Crawford, already have a cat with the new flange for the new headers. Give Doug a call.

You have pretty much the same set up as me. I have the 4.083 gears just waiting for the installer. Ordered the black text fujita intakes and now just waiting on FI to deliever the parts. Cant wait til fall season and take the car to the track.

Hows the 4.083 gears? whats the rpms on hwy cruise speeds? What speeds you top out at on each gear?

What's funny... is given my clutch problem and the ****ty conditions at PIR, I ran the same 1/4 mile I ran stock (launching at 3500 rpm stock). However I ran it launching from 1700, spinning 90% of 2nd gear, trapping almost 3mph higher even though I'm leaving the line a lot slower and now I pickup 23mph in the last 1/8th instead of 20mph. lol

This was without the test pipes btw, just i/e/gears. Once I get my clutch problem fixed and onto some DR's I don't see why I shouldn't be able to see trap speeds approaching 110mph (my goal).

1st: ~38
2nd: ~62
3rd: ~88
4th: 115
5th: 145
6th: 159 (well not really, but it won't let me go faster lol)

Cruising at 65 is about 2600-2700 rpm, 75mph is 3k rpm.

Didn't have them with me, they're at home sitting on my desk. I'll probably throw a code before I get that far, I'm sure. I have them to try, so we'll see.

Crawford +1.

Ever since they updated the cat with the brackets, we haven't had any issues. They also released HDC specifically for the VQ35HR. From what I understand, the flanges were different from the zenki model.

Awesome on the higher trap! I will try to lower the et and keep that trap speed higher. With testpipes I say we should hope for a good 5-6mph increase. That would put me somewhere around 107-109mph! Cant wait and hopefully I can get a set of lightweight wheels for our upcoming track meet! The cruise speeds seem pretty decent. I was hoping for that so I can lower my cruise speeds to around 55-60 on the highway. Cruising ataround 80-85mph on the highway is kinda creeping me out because of these new traffic laws around our way.

Yeah the test pipes were a very noticeable increase... like the exhaust and then some. The track I run at (PIR) is generally pretty crappy and runs slow, I've noticed my trap is around 2-3mph lower than the typical 07 Z, so if I can net a 106-107 trap at PIR I'll be more than happy.
