So I get my polished injen in the mail and decide to start the install. I removed the currently installed pop charger, factory intake tube, then proceed to install the injen heat shield and then the injen intake all the way to the front of the radiator. I also wanted to connect it to the jwt pop charger.
The heat shield goes in easy. Assembly/Install of injen goes fairly easy. Connecting pop to injen..........Not gonna happen.
I ordered and received an extra adapter that connects between the pop charger and the end of the injen intake. When it was out of the car it fit perfectly but there is not enough room in the front section of the nose for the pop charger to fit. By the looks of the install (or lack there of) the injen intake tube needs to either be another 4-5 inches longer into the radiator area or there needs to be one more/longer adapter that will give the required additional length so you can connect the two.
Has anyone done this yet? The injen all the way to the front of the radiator with a pop charger as the filter? I have seen it up top but not down infront of the radiator.
Please, someone, shed some light. Tomorrow is sunday and I need to get it installed and the nose back on by 4pm west coast time!
Thanks
