Default Got my xo2 exhaust installed

After deciding I had enough with trying to install my exhaust I handed it over to a local shop (raceline). An hour and a half, some sheared off bolts and a sawz-all later the exhaust is on. There are some minor fitment issues that I need to work out (driver side is hanging lower than passenger side) , otherwise I love the exhaust look/sound. After the install we strapped it to the dyno and got the following results:

Motor mods: k&n drop in and xo2 true dual: (mustang dyno)

Sorry no baseline, but I figured everyone knew stock z's were putting down 225ish stock on load based dynos. I believe he said he had a 350 with nismo intake, exhaust and headers put down 245. I was told I was one of the stronger n/a z's he's seen.

So you think its a good choice for the money. I was planning on getting a Nismo, but I keep thinking about this one. Could you tell any performance difference and hows the sound. Maybe I could meet up with you one weekend and hear it, where abouts in Cincy are you

I'm over in Anderson and yes I think it's a great exhaust for the money. It seems to pull a little harder up top, but that could just be the placebo effect. Sound wise, I think it's one of the best sounding exhausts out there, I love it. Nice and deep and not obnoxious sounding. I do have some fitment issues (driver side hanging lower than passenger side) but I think I'm in the minority. I'm going to take it to someone to see if some hangers can't be bent or something to make it fit a little better.

Are you running cats? If so, do you know which high flow cats will work with this system?

Thanks

Jared

I had fitment issues when I installed my exhaust. I just had to loosen up some of the bolts and move it around a little and it lines up great.

it is typical for almost all aftermarket exhaust systems for the left side to sag a little compared to the right.

First time I've heard of this. If this is true, is there a reason?

Depends on what you got dynoed on. Mustang will read lower than a dynojet.
