I installed plenum spacer and strut bar is making contact with upper plenum (actually 1 mm away from it to be exact). I've been told that I need to put some more washers on strut bar. Does anybody know what size washer I'm supposed to get? I own '03 Z Track.

Just take off one of the bolts of the strut bar and take it to the hardware store with you and play with some washers until the right one fits. This way you won't have to make several runs.

 

Sounds like you've had to make several trips in the past haha........I agree though, that's the best way to go.

 

Adjust the strut bar tension to fix it.

do what hydrazine said, loosen the tension on the strut bar, mine did the same thing after I installed it.

 

At least a dozen.
