i recently installed a used nismo exhaust on my car and i know i secured all bolts tight and used good gaskets on both ends of the y-pipe. but where the mid-pipe bolts up to the muffler i didnt notice any gaskets (being used i dunno if any are missing) are there any?
i ask because for being the quietest exhaust available its way too loud. so i figure im missing a gasket at the end there otherwise i bought a cracked exhaust maybe.
also if someone could post up companies that frequently deal with nismo that would be great with helping me in short time that would be good.

After just a few thousand miles, the bolts at the location you describe loosened on my nismo exhaust and it sounded terrible. I installed lock washers and retightened--problem solved for more than 15k miles now.

yea i thought i saw a gasket on it at the time, wasnt paying good enough attention. ill probably do what you just suggested and if it works that saves me 70+ shipping for the gasket set and waiting for shipment
+1 I forgot to mention that when my connecting bolts were loose, they were soo loose that the gasket had slipped down so far as to be visible. If you don't have the gasket, get some high temp gasket material, make a template as described above and install. The lock washers will add peace of mind and long term conformity to original torque specs.
