No one notices any difference except for the tips. People that don't know about the xo2 don't even know. The xo2 is probably built with a lesser quality stainless steel and the xo2 tips are stainless. The hks tips are titanium. The xo2 sounds a little different.

Simply - they are NOT the same, but look real close. The X02, as you know is a copy...not made by HKS, so no HKS parts. If you want to get close and save the money - it's seemingly the way to go.

Yeah - don't go the knockoff route if you really care about your Z.

Caring has nothing to do with it really...it's a budget thing...for me, I'd save an extra month or two, if needed, to get it done the right way the first time.

For the most part , if you want to brag that you spend way to much money (like your a baby baller or something ) get HKS , if not get the X02 for 1/3 of the price with equal performance.

Equal performance? Probably. Equal durability & quality? Probably not.

You'll actually save money in the long run by buying quality parts, because if you buy some cheap @ss knockoff, you'll end up replacing it much sooner than the quality part... And then you'll end up buying the quality part you should have bought in the first place anyway...

When it comes to knockoffs, do yourself a favor, and just say no. Leave the cheap knockoffs for the ricer crowd.

Anyone know what happened to the HKS knockoff XO2 used to sell? I can't find it on eBay or on their site anymore... Did they get sued by HKS or something?

ok my question was are there any hks markings . Not if I am a baller or how the x02 exhaust sucks. I'm looking at a used hks from someone I think is trustworthy but you never know. I'm picking it up in a couple days and I can't tell the difference

there are no markings on the HKS that signifies it is a real HKS. A side by side comparison may be obvious but other than that.....

Do you own an X02? No? So how would you know the quality. Anyone that spends over $1,000 on bent pipes IMO isn't that smart. I can buy two X02's for the price of one HKS even if it did break which it wont. Just because it has a known brand on it doesnt mean its the best either. You've seen the threads about the crappy HKS welding. Dont be a hater about somthing you dont own. Are there crappy know offs yea for sure but the X02 is a great buy for someone that wants the same look and gain.
