Default Any cracking issues w/ Fast Intentions HFC's or Berk HFC's?

With all the cracking issues I've read about with test pipes...with hangers, without hangers, I purchased a set of Titek test pipes that did come with hangers and they cracked in less than a month at the hanger weld.

Does anyone have issues w/ cracking of HFCs at all?

There are no reported cracking issues with FI testpipes or HFC's. They are specifically designed with a 'no bind' tolerance. If you happen to mate them with a catback that isn't right though - anything could happen...but again, nothing reported.

Ask blasian about this. I think he's on his 3rd set of test pipes with his nismo exhaust.

I had Crawford HFC and JIC Y-Pipe combo for a few months, and had no problems. I like the JIC and would buy another one in a second

Does anyone have issues w/ cracking of HFCs at all?

4 years later, zero cracks. So far so good.....

Make sure you buy a properly designed exhaust w/ flex sections.

Just wondering by any chance for those 4 years, did u happen to have the HFCs mated to the nismo exhaust?

I have Nismo exhaust and Fast Intentions HFC's. My cats cracked right on the weld after about 9 months. Easy fix though.

Wow that's the first FI HFC weld failure. Of course, the Nismo exhaust breaks everyone's test pipes/cats.

I have heard many stories of test pipes being cracked open by NISMO exhaust too.

On the other hand, may I ask what's the justification behind the "bracketless" design for the FI HFC? I am just curious
