Default greddy ti single exit

sorry for the noob questions but i did some research and cant find anything.
i was told that this exhaust was a y-pipe back exhaust. is this correct? if i was to go with this exhaust, that means my test pipes i have on the z right now wont work with this exhaust? any feedback would be much appreciated. love the single exit style, so this would be my choice of exhaust for the price as well.

also anyone on here that runs this exhaust? how do you like it? sounds? gains?

Yes it is Y-Pipe back, but your test pipes will be fine because they sit ahead. You could get an aftermarket Y-Pipe such as the JIC.

I would even go as far as saying you probably should consider it.

Ive heard people saying the piping is too short and it burns the rear bumper. Do some more research just to be sure.

ya i did find the pics, it does look like the exhaust stained the bumper a bit. hmmm.....I may look at somethin thats clears better. Anyone with any pics of the JIC installed? seeing the greddy so close to the bumper id ont want the stain from the exhaust.

If theres a way to extend the greddy exhaust so its not so close????

i have the greddy ti-c installed on my car. its near the rear bumper but doesnt quite touch the only staining comes from the the exhaust gas let out. i am actually looking to sell this, cause its just a little too loud for my tastes, sounds great just attracts a bit too much attention. let me know if anyone is interested in a greddy ti-c with about 3k miles on it.

Tanabe Y Pipe and Berk Tech T/Ps is the best set-up for best flow for the Greddy Ti-C IMO. I'm selling my whole Ti-C set-up.

can you describe the sound? so far i've only heard 2 sound clips and i'm not sure how accurate they are. they don't sound too loud in the clips but i've heard they're loud IRL.
