Question Skunk2 exhaust? Anyone?

I was wondering if anyone has the skunk2 exhasut? No one seems to have, or has talked about this exhaust(based on forum search). Its really nice looking, and has a really good price($800) considering that it is a dual catback exhaust. my main concern is SOUND. Any personal experience feed back would be great, also sound clips would be nice.

seems to be very close to one of the stillen exhaust in design.

Good price on a true dual. First time I heard that they have an exhaust for the Z.
+1 on the stillen design

yeah i got a pm with the price and you really cant beat it. is got me really interested also. The vendor is supposedly is going to post pic and clips.Hopefully with this thread we might get someone out there that has first hand experience with it. I would really like an unbiased opinion of the exhaust.

I was going to get the Skunk2 exhaust but opted for the Tanabe Concept G...The Skunk2 looks pretty well built to me.

I am going with the Skunk 2 for my G in the next few weeks or so. My friend is a Skunk 2 vendor and I can't say no for a true dual exhaust for the price I can get it for. Skunk 2 has really started to make some nice stuff for other cars, and not just Hondas. I will post pics when I get them.

That is a good looking system, especially for us NA folks. Looks like small enough tubing to maintain decent exhaust velocity. If I was in the market for one I would get it, add a crossover pipe, and be good to go.

i love the way the exhaust looks. Looks like more of the higher end exhaust designs (ARC, Amuse, etc) but for some reason, i can't put a skunk2 product on my car. It just seems like they are strictly honda/acura camp.

Exhaust looks like it'll sound a lot like APS or Injen. I'm leaning toward Injen.

I could see it sounding like APS, maybe. But im not sure about it sounding like Injen, totally different canister design.
I think if anything it would sound like stillen(similar canister design)

from the design i dont think its gonna sound like the stillen because the stillen has a x pipe with resonators..i think the skunk2 is gonna be way louder and cuz it looks like it has straight pipes going back to the exhaust

You and me both! I will install the exhaust before I do the test pipes just to get a good sound without the rasp that test pipes are known to give. I think that it will sound and perform very well. I have always had great success with all of the Skunk 2 products I have had for my past Hondas.

They make products for many vehicles

EVO, Z, STi....and even if they were somehow "strictly honda" their race cars have set records naturally aspirated...they may know a thing or two about exhaust systems...just a thought
