Question Spacer without the gasket !

Hi guys ,
I bought used Spacer for my car without the gasket , do I have to buy new gasket ? it is important for the spacer ? or I can install the spacer on the stock gasket

Lets think about this, just for a second. Gaskets seal the gap between 2 surfaces. so, the surfaces in question are the intake manifold on your engine. so if this were to have a poor seal you'd have unmetered/unfiltered air entering your intake stream. Would that be good? (hint the answer is no)

so after taking a minute to THINK, the answer is as posted above. GET GASKETS!

FYI, I have installed many of these spacers from Motordyne and never had a problem using the stock used one that was on the car. The stock gaskets are usually still good on cars below 40k miles. You CAN reuse them. Just clean them well. You will need a total of 2 though. So you will need to at least purchase 1 more.

The newer motordyne spacer comes with the gasket already glued/attached to it.
