The pictures you guys have seen before were from our prototype. We have made a change to the length of the tips to clear the rear bumper a little bit more to eliminate the exhaust marks.

Phillip, I would appreciate it so much if you could take some pics tom. of the new Z with the new tips. PLEASE, I would be so greatful. Just sneak over to it, snap a few, and run back to your desk or wherever, like James Bond, stealth, haha, that was getting off topic. But it would be really cool if you could.

The tips are the same, just slightly extended to clear the rear bumper.

Thats what they said! I called another shop and they said $740. I guess i will find out when i go put my deposit down tommorow. The shop that says $600 said they got their first kit in today and installed it on a Z this morning. The rep said it is the meanest souding exhaust they have seen out yet. He said they have done quite a few other systems and this is by far the best sounding. He did not know anything about the hp gains though since he only heard the car and did not drive it.

The tips on the Injen exhaust may not be what most are used to (I think they're fine, not perfect, but totally fine with me), but IMO the Borla exhaust looks so damn cheap. No flanges to connect the pipes and clamps are used instead. That's like home made stuff! It doesn't look professional at all. Even the piping looks smaller than the stk piping (the muffler piping at least).

The polished piping on the Injen is very nice. The angled muflfers lets you know it's not stk. Why pay money for a stk looking aftermarket exhaust that even looks cheaper than the stk exhaust. I guess I was never into being stealth, or having the sleeper, stk looking stuff.

Unfortunately there are many Z owners that don't like the tips on the Injen and I don't blame them. Otherwise I think many more Z owners would be buying the Injen.

If the Borla puts down as much power as the Injen (which I doubt it will), then great for whoever buys one, I'm just stating my opinion.
