Default Best Performance Exhaust for 07s?

The sound matters but im mostly going for the best HP gains.

So in your opinion can you list the top 3 in order from most hp to least hp gains?

Looking to pick up an exhaust system as soon as I pick up my 07.

Your top 3 in the industry are Stillen, HKS and Fast Intentions.

I don't know if they all have 07 versions - but I do know Fast Intentions does.

Oh - yea...so some reasearch...

Just had my x02 exhaust installed and it sounds awesome. Can't vouch for gains on it yet but it does feel faster on the butt dyno.

As far as I know, there is no need for a "'07 version" for any exhaust - the prior years ones fit fine. I did hear that the Greddy Evo TT has great gains - it's an exhaust designed for TT applications, but works very well with the N/A HR engine.

The HR motors have different flanges - 3 bolt instead of two and also come down and connect at different angles under the car.

The 07 HR model exhausts must be fitted to align and even be able to install.

When you buy and exhaust for your HR car - make sure it is identified as OK for the HR motor.

Not true for catbacks. The exhaust flanges are different if you were to go with test pipes or high-flow cats. The catback is exactly the same - I put my Injen on myself and it fit perfectly.

Correct on the CATS or Tp's. Most systems do fit, but they also put a bind on the system as a whole. Typically, the bind should not affect much, but some of the systems out there put a bind on the system to begin with, cracking CATS and TP's. It will be a bit worse on the HR motor setups.

So, it's not that it isn't true - you can bolt them up, but fitment is not perfect.

Hmmm... First I've heard of this issue. Do you know the specific brands that are affected?

Go with the HKS Hi power, or the Greddy EVO TT(this performs well on the HR motor, and set you up nicely if you ever want to go FI.) There both true dual. Theres also the XO2 exhaust, which is the HKS knock off, and is a lot cheaper. It will give the exact same gains, but it has yet to be seen if the build quality is just as good as the HKS. Its a known fact that the XO2 uses lesser quality metal and has a thiner side wall.
