Default Just need a quick answer

Been reading about intakes on here for about 2 hours and just want an answer from someone who has had experience with this. What I want to go with is the JWT pop charger. Question is, does the jwt pop charger still give that mean cai sound? Intakes performance wise don't vary a great deal but I still want the sound if I am going to spend any money at all. I basically want sound and maybe some gas milage gains, not real interested in hp gains because the Z has enough. and where is the most reliable place to get the pop charger? Thanks a lot.

You are right that most intakes will yield all the same minimal gains because the stock box is pretty efficient already. The popcharger has one of the most pronounced sounds of the intakes for the Z that I am aware of. If you want the woooosh sound you will be happy with the popcharger. The only drawback to the popcharger versus a long-tube cai or an intake with a box is that it gets heat soaked, but any sri will have the same issue. It's not that bad unless you are at the track and rely on constant cold air off the line.

great. Thanks for the answers, anyone know a good reputable place to buy online? I have had a few problems with getting ripped in the past so I'm just being cautious.

The JWT makes some sound but not nearly as pronounced as the CAI/SRi that actually replace the Z-tube but thats a no brainer. To buy it just look around https://my350z.com/sponsors/ all those stores are reputable and should have good pricing.

Filter, that silver ring, clamps, heatshield, and screws might be forgetting something.

Alright thanks. I just ordered one from a sponsor on the site for a great price. The picture they have is only of the bracket, heatshield, and filter but I am assuming it comes with the hardware needed to install, if not they are not hard to find at car shops. Thanks again, couple days and it will be hummin.
