I reacently got a 2007 nismo intake for my car but one of the intake rubber mount was defective and the part was on back order in the dealer which made me really mad. By the way, will nismo intake bring me negative effects during the brake-in priod because I only have 250 miles on my car. Thanks!

 

I was able to make my own mount since I bought a used nismo CAI for only $50 it didn't have the mount. Go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy a rubber stopper in the hardware drawer section. Drill out a hole, then get a #6 metric bolt that is long, like 30 or more, then you can buy an aluminum washer for the top and a plastic spacer if you want, I didn't bother. Worked great.

I was all worried about it, but now I drive it how I always wood. Some time WOT some times like granny. lol Depends how much gas in the tank. I honeslty did the same on my RX8,Z4 and 330ZHP and put nearly 50-70k on all cars and no problems.

I just take it easy the first few hundred miles.
