Default Berk HFCs + Test Pipes on stock exhaust?

Anybody out there with this combo or a similar one? I'm looking to do both mods, but still keep the noise down to a minimum. Any suggestions/opinions? I'm sure the noise level will increase, but will it be still reasonably mellow compared to aftermarket stuff? Or is doing this counterproductive?

you cannot run HFC with Test Pipes, they go in the same place.

You can always add resonators to the exhaust if either are overly loud for you.

Test pipes will net you more WHP in the upper RPMs, but you will lose some low end TQ.

Test pipes and the Motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer are 2 of the best mods you can do without going forced induction IMO.

I use the UTR Resonated test pipes and love them. Still might be a little loud though.

HFC should not be as loud as test pipes

If you are the type that loves the stock exhaust but just wants a bit more sound out of it, then the stock exhaust + Berk HFC combo is perfect.

Just a tad louder & deeper w/ no rasp.

Scmtkings4 you should be getting your metallics in a few days. Post a before/after youtube video if you have a chance. A digital camera works fine for youtube quality videos.

I don't mind a slightly louder growl, just as long it doesn't sound ricey and get in the way of a normal convo inside the car. I really love the sound of the Fast Intentions stuff, to give you an idea of what I consider an acceptable sound.

Anyone out there every dynoed their HFCs? Just looking for a rough median of what to expect.

I have the berk test pipes on with the stock exaust. With the vortech on it it made LOTS more power and a real nice sound but only when accerating other wise no diff than stock . But it did throw the ces light other than that love them. I love the smell of the exaust now no more sulpher. Oh but I only run it on the track with them

Hey, yeah im hoping they arrive by Monday. I'll be sure to post some before/after clips just to show the potential buyers what to expect when it comes to sound.
