Default Megans Racing????

What do you guys know about this company? I see their stuff alot lately, especially with exhaust and header stuff. It's so much cheaper it's almost too good to be true so I was wondering if my gut feeling was right.

megan racing is cheap stuff. apparently thier quality of materials is decent, but its the R&D where the differences between the good and meh stuff is noticeable. for example: I have heard thier coilovers, while a good product, lack the high speed dampening and supple ride of the more expensive units.

but I own zero of thier products.

there is a megan BBK review around and the consensus from the testers was that the kit was just fine and worked well for them. I am too lazy to search and find it but its out there

I hear their test pipes and headers have a tendency to crack.

I replace 2-3 of their cracked test pipes a month. I'd go elsewhere.....

i bought megan racing headers on ebay.... no problems... but I've only had em on 3 months, and haven't bothered trying to see if anything is wrong... the test pipes though are something like "top speed" or some other ebay knock off... I'm looking to go FI anyways, so I don't spend much on this little stuff, just want it for the deep nice sound.

Megan Racing products have always been good, IMO. I have never had a part failure, and I am known to be hard on parts. In my experience the price vs. quality is second to none and very hard to beat.

I've had my Megan Racing headers & test pipes for over a year now and no issues. Don't let the "I hear . . . " stuff concern you. Obviously, since they've never owned one, they don't have a clue what they're talking about. In my case, I track my Z every month and have never had any issues.
