Default Studdering after installing Berk Test Pipes

I just installed Berk Test Pipes along with Fujita's dual intakes last week and now when I go to hit WOT in any gear the car studders and once it hits 3K it's fine. I'm not sure if the extra cell fix I put on is too far away for the o2 sensor or not. Maybe not enough back pressure? Or too rich or lean? I've never really dealt with this before on a N/A. On my old WRX it was like fuel cut off due to over boosting. But like I said after 3K I can go WOT and it's smooth power. Any help would be great. I'm getting it dyno'd on the 15th so well see where my A/F are.

it's not backpressure. you'll have to check your a/f ratios to make sure they're correct. i've had that problem on a previous car of mine, right before i replaced the spark plugs and wires and it was completely fixed - check into that too. you might be running too lean.

I doubt the Berk test pipes are causing the studdering. If anything, its those worthless fujita intakes.

Ok, I'll take them off and install the stock intakes and see what happens.

check your 02 sensors. When i had damaged 02 sensors my car did EXACTLY what you are descibing.

but after i replaced the 02 sensor it was fixed. You might have damaged an 02 sensor but because of your CEL fix, your CEL isn't going off.

I have brand new o2 sensors but I'm thinkikng maybe the extra cell fix is too much. I'm going to take it off too before the intakes and see what happens.

Double check the intake install. If you have no lights are are studdering it sounds like a post MAF vacuum leak. Double check the breather lines on the Fujita intakes, the hoses they give you aren't quite the correct size.

The secondary O2 sensors do not have any effect on the drivability of the car. So even if you stuck them into a stick of butter and drove around they wouldn't make the car studder.

Let us know!

Will do. Thanks Bryan! I love the test pipes by the way. A little raspy but everyone that has heard it loves it. Your test pipes with the Tanabe exhaust is amazing. Thanks again.
