I'm really tempted to order the Borla dual but I was wondering about the pipe diameters. Is it a 2 1/2" system?

There is a good chance I'll go with a turbo kit in the future. Will the current Borla dual system be too restrictive for a turbo configuration or should I hold out for a 3" system?

Also, will the boxed Borla system fit in the back of the Z? It doesn't seem like it will. Are you guys holding on to your stock exhaust systems and if so, will the stock system fit in the back of the Z? In other words, when I go in for installation, do I need to have a buddy follow me in a separate car or truck?

I believe its 2.25, I just installed a 2.5 inch dual (customized) for the reason of the turbo. Someone correct me if I'm wrong about the borla.

 

You're right - It is a 2.25" system.
