Default Anyone else have this prob with EVO2?

Seems like the left side is hitting part of the rear diff on mine, searched and not really heard about this but its very close on mine and i'm assuming that the rattle i hear under load is the pipe hitting this piece of the diff

Mine is like that on the right side. Haven't got it figured out yet, but I just got it on last night. Sharif at Forged pm'ed me and said that the factory exhaust hangers have a lot of play in them to adjust there. I'll let you know if it works.

i had a problem with my borla pressing up against the rear strut back there. Where the tubing would go in between the strut and the car was rattling up against the exhaust. The rear hangers can be adjusted along with the hangers on your exhaus to provide an extra inch or two of clearance. Good luck with things.

i just don't want to have the tips hang any lower than they are now, can i still keep the level with adjusting the hangers?

I haven't had that problem. But every other rubbing problem with the Greddy, I've had it. You'll just half to play with it some to get it away from it. You could put some heat wrap (several wraps) around the pipe to keep it from rattling. I have this done in several spots.

i love the sound i just hate the rattle and that seems to be the only spot for now that and a leaky evap i was thinking of grinding down the extra metal on the diff case i dont think it would hurt anything but thats a last resort of course just glad i dont have any other contact issues with it so far ill try to get a good picture tomorrow and see if anyone thinks grinding down may be a terrible idea
