I'm curious why this makes such good power. Is anything out from them for the '07+ G35 sedan? Or could the 'X' pipe be used from this system and the rest be custom fabricated?

After the ECU learns that you have that exhaust on the car, that 12rwhp gets multiplied 2X to give you what they posted. The ecu in our cars is that advanced. I since advanced my timing in my Z to compensate for my lack of torque.

X-pipes are useless on motors with even cylinder firing between banks.

X pipes have proven to harness good power NA wise since stillens days of rein with there exhaust the bassani is just showing that again.

However i dont believe for one minute that that exhaust gave off 20+rhwp or trq . Not in any VQ ...HR or not.

On a V6? Doubtful. They work on cross-plane V8 due to the uneven firing order between cylinder banks.

VQ = RLRLRL
Cross-plane V8 = LRLLRLRR <--hence the rumble-bumble vs. the ferrari shriek

true, but stillen and other x pipes systems have shown the most promising gains that i have seen. Remember thats not saying that where getting crazy hp levels but a good equal balance of tq and hp ....the x pipe systems seem to me to be putting out the best overall numbers . Aside from common knowledge of the firing order , they do make power better then most on this platform from what i seen and though sound is subjective they dont rasp as much and sound better in my reviews aswell. lol

I got an exhaust system with x-pipe because ofthe noise factor. X-pipeshave been proven to take out the "rasp" when you have test pipes.

^^ yes, the Fast Intentions Intimidator System has an X pipe for this very reason, this is why their exhaust doesn't rasp with their reson. test pipes
