Do you have an FSM? You ought to check out how this part of the motor is put together. It will make everything a lot easier to comprehend.

EDIT: Oh hell, here you go.

So if a revup that was stock was racing a revup with mrev2 and spacer, if everything was magically the same - driver skill, shift point, conditions, the one with the mrev2 and spacer should be further ahead at all points of the race even though the revup has a higher rwhp peak because of the amount of power the mrev2 and spacer produce under the curve? Also, Tony, I sent you a pm

I would expect this to hold true.

The MREV2 makes the car more useable for my purposes, I don't race or rev up high too often. The spacer (or larger upper plenum) by itself has not shown to be a big hp getter on the revups. I understood that Nissan had corrected the starvation to the two front cylinders problem on the revup, so the MREV2 + spacer is the ticket.
Having said that, I will be swapping out the APS/MREV2 combo in favor of the Cosworth shortly.

Absolutely. That is what the dyno data shows.

Peak numbers are meaningless except maybe to a dyno junkie. Average power per gear, or area under the curve, is all that matters to acceleration.

Will you be dynoing it?
That would be interesting to see.

Right now, I'm having difficulty talking anyone that reserved a Cosworth, into selling it to me

Yes, I plan on tuning w/ Osiris and getting a dyno.

https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....323060&page=11

I just looked at my dyno, and it looked like with the mrev2/spacer i lost 4hp from 6200-6500 from my peak baseline and it returns to what the original baseline was around 6700, but there is almost 1000rpms worth where i have gained 10+ hp. The tq is greater everywhere and it looks like it never took a hit.
