You believed what 'they' told you? You mean a vendor told a fib to make a profit?

Please, don't chime in and insinuate that I was conned into buying something. I work in retail, sir. In most cases, I'd be buying this part from Stillen and then reselling it to my customer so that I could make a profit. I wouldn't be so impulsive if I didn't have a fair amount of confidence in my decision. The reason was that I'm acquainted well with a representative over at Stillen, and I do a lot of business with them. When he told me that this would be the best choice, I trusted him. And, I still hold him to it - maybe it is the best choice as far as performance is concerned. What I didn't know at the time was how much I actually would care about the way it sounded. My sales rep over at Stillen could have quite easily sold me something different and still made a profit. In fact, Stillen is largely known for their distribution of Greddy products as well.

This argument is kinda stupid. Sound is sound and 2 each there own. What I think sounds great another person would not. What people think on here sounds great I think sounds like a civic on crack. Stillen is known from great products and great quality build lets leave it like that

Borla advertises itself as a so called true dual, but in reality it is not. The muffler is an X type that mingles both sides of the exhaust. I really don't know if that's a hindrance or not, but in any event it is not a true dual exhaust. All the other dual exhausts out there do in fact keep each side isolated in the muffler, so are in fact true duals.

BTW, I have an Invidia G200 with an "H" Pipe.

No exhaust with an H or X pipe is true dual according to you then? That's what keeps it from sounding like crap...

Didn't say that But, with an "X" to an "H", the mingling takes place up near the manifold or header, and smooths out the pulses. With the Borla it takes place twice, once up front and then again near the rear. And, as I said, it takes place in the muffler. I don't believe this to be optimal, but I really don't know. However, I do know that because of this, the Borla is not really a so called true dual. And, as I said, I put in an "H" in my setup.

I am not sure, but I have heard that there is 2 version of the injen exhaust, the old one: 1985 (C or TT) and 1986 (C or TT) which is larger than the 1985 and I think the 1986 Injen exhaust is 2.5".

Its not. I've heard it with headers and test pipes and it wasn't that loud. It makes the tone of the exhaust a bit too muted and bassy for my tastes. I'd rather go with an exhaust that exemplifies the signature aspects of the engine's tone rather than trying to alter it to make it sound like a larger displacement engine.

Oh, what I could do with this! I work in retail. That's hilarious!

Coming from retail, you must be shocked that your well acquainted rep told you that HIS product is the best choice. Of-course he could have sold you a Greddy - Clue: He didn't. Honestly, you are obviously a noob when it comes to that hot, shiny thing under the hood. Don't give me that I can't be conned, I work in retail crap. As said earlier, exhaust note is very subjective, so that's your call alone. Weight is not an issue, your car weighs almost 2 tons, so that extra 10lbs won't be an issue. As far as performance goes, none are going to peel the tires off your rims, so that's a secondary consideration anyway.

Sorry everyone, I just couldn't help it.
