Just doesn't seem as clean as the X02 for some reason. the tips just seem really cheap imho...

Workin on it heh. I did go get my slave cylinder swapped out today which consumed most of my free time. I am going to try and get the test pipes on tommorow and make the vid. On another note the mechanics loved the ebay exhaust. They mentioned the quality was excellent and it sounded amazing. Told them it cost 481 shipped and they were like dayuuuuuuuuuuuuuum. But they did mention I need a tune =( wru technosquare.

 

does this ebay exhaust give the same hp gain as xo2? ebay states like 12 horse power gain. But xo2 states around 20...any idea?

does the material affect the performance of the exhaust? or the size of it matters only?

 

Size matters for backpressure, material mainly affects the weight, I dont see how it might affect it any other way.

Speaking of which, how is the weight on this exhaust system?

Yesterday I went to the shop to have my TPs put on due to the bolts pwning the impact gun I have. However the Ebay exhaust sounds GREAT with Fast Intentions Test Pipes on the 07. I had noticed one fitment issue this week where the left side of the muffer/tip was about 1/3 inch lower than the right. So while I was there I had their guy take a torch to the hanger, heat it up, and adjust it up a bit. Tips are now spot on however I am hitting that black box in their when the exhaust vibrates and it makes that god awful rattling sound.Going to see about filing that box down some to resolve the issue. Hopefully I can get it taken care of this evening and will post sound clips. Honestly the TPs did not change the sound much due to them being reasonated....just sounds a little louder with the same tone.
