I don't have any pics atm, but one end of the X slip fits just like the H-pipe and the other end needs to be welded. Took mine to a shop and got it installed for about $200. (Expect 1-3+ hours for labor)

I had my H-pipe cut off, and had the X-pipe muffler welded on. I have resonated test pipes and no hiss or rasp at all.

Interesting that it slip fits fine. You guys notice any less resonance with this setup? That's what I'm really trying to eliminate. With my auto, the resonance is exactly at my cruise/shift points. annoying.

The resonance / drone with auto is mainly around the 1800 RPM range (at least it is for me). I think if anything it got a little worse, but I don't find it annoying or bothersome because I can still carry on a conversation or listen to the radio without having to crank it up. I do notice that it generally fades once the car has warmed up though.
