yea i would use non foulers but i went cheap and got the tp off ebay and the o2 sensors are pointing down at the ground and not up into the car so if i put the non foulers on there i will rip the o2 sensor out hahaha pieces of **** but they sound good
I have an 03 and my test pipes have been on for about 700 miles with no CEL. I did install non-foulers that i got from the local O'reillys parts store for 4 bucks!! Any auto parts store will have them. They are called spark plug non-foulers if you need to ask someone.
well i just purchased the helix v2 test pipes and i did about 450 miles on them because i drove to boston and back 207 miles each way. Today my CEL turned on and i have a 18mm non foulers which got me confused because it wasn't supposed to turn on. So i just disconnected the negative on the battery waited about 5 min connected to back and CEL light turned off.
So much confusion, so little time... Let's summarize state a few facts for the record:
'03 do not throw CELs. '05 WILL throw CELs; it may take a few driving cycles, but it WILL happen. You can take that to the bank.
You do NOT want to put the 02 sensors on in such a way that they will trap water, such as 'pointing down at the ground'. The moisture and corrosion products in the piping WILL kill your sensors.
There are NO guarantees in life except for death and taxes. For cars susceptible to CELs, the anti-foulers will work MOST of the time, but a CEL will drop in once in a while. There are other alternatives, including longer 02 sensor extensions, and electronic simulators.
The CEL associated with the cat-delete mod does NOT have any effect on how the car runs. It is only a notification that the cat efficiency has been compromised. It will NOT 'make your car run funny'.

mines still on even after the non-foulers... maybe my 02 sensor is bad? how do i know whether its the sensor or whether i did the non-foulers wrong (i dont think this is possible)
